Glass

A composition of silica and quartz, this material is highly scratch-, stain-, heat- and etch-resistant. Colors and patterns are limited to solid colors.

There are two types of glass slabs that we carry at Marble and Granite, Inc. and each is quite different from one to the next. Crystal glass is a proprietary process that mixes glass, pigments, and other minerals to achieve a solid durable surface. Our most popular is the Crystalized White because of its absolute brilliance and durability.

The other type is a natural and unique Alabaster, mined in Northeastern Italy, enclosed with a ¼ inch layer of glass. The durability of glass allows the product to be used in various applications, which include, but are not limited to: desks, table tops, lamp post, wall cladding, and other decorative applications.
