 The demand for marble and granite countertops has increased significantly over the years. Customer preferences are rapidly changing because importers are continuously introducing not only newer and exotic colors of marble and granite but also engineered surfaces like Caesarstone and Neolith which are outstanding countertop products. The word "engineered" specially in reference to stone industry does not sound very natural or artistic to begin with but both of these products are extremely functional and almost maintenance free in addition to their neat and sharp looks.

There is nothing as pretty as a bar with subtle lighting, a full length mirror with the exotic bottles lined up containing the colorful liquids and a wide, shiny counter to saddle up to. The counter plays an important part, as this is where you center your attention, once in your seat. If it is dingy or scratched, it detracts from the whole setting. You are well aware of the abuse a counter top sees within a given day. If only you could keep the counter from blemishes and have it looking new and beautiful for well over a decade. Whether you prefer minimalist designs where less is more or layered looks where it's all about the accessories, backsplashes are a wonderful way to add interest for a more dynamic interior design. And while stone tile backsplashes are timeless, a continuous stone backsplash can create a unique and luxurious look that is also easy to clean and maintain.
