Shopping for natural stone is a unique experience—and here at Marble & Granite, Inc., we believe the key word is “experience.” It’s our goal to make your visit as easy, pleasant, and informative as possible, and we’re here to help you navigate the often-overwhelming and abundant options. Can I, the homeowner, visit Marble & Granite, Inc.?
Absolutely! We understand that unless you’ve been through a renovation or a new build, you probably don't have a lot of experience visiting stone yards or warehouses. And if you’re in the early stages, you’re probably not really sure where to start. While we work with industry professionals, including designers, architects, and builders, we’re happy to work directly with you, the consumer, too.

We display our slabs one at a time so you can experience each one without visual distraction. 

How do I know what to look for?
If you aren’t sure were to begin, we can ask you some questions to get your brain’s gears turning. For example, how many meals do you cook a week? Do you like things to always look “new” or do you enjoy a weathered patina? How much maintenance are you willing to do? To help you narrow down your choices, we’ll walk you around our showroom and let you experience each type of stone. Whereas other showrooms will often stack slabs one on top of the other, we only display one slab at a time. This lets you get a feel for each individual style or color of stone without being visually sidetracked. Our wide aisles give you a chance to stand back and study each slab, plus it offers plenty of space to lay out cabinet samples, flooring tiles, backsplash ideas, and more. Or, if you have your kids in tow, rest assured our aisles are stroller-friendly.

Should I come on a sunny day?
Well, you certainly can…but not if you’d rather be outside enjoying the sunshine! Both of our showroom facilities are indoors, so you can come and check out our selection any time, rain or shine. Want to see the slab you love in natural light? No problem! Our Westwood, MA showroom features skylights to let natural light flood the showroom floor. This makes it possible for you to see the “real thing” without distortion from artificial lighting.

I saw a beautiful granite on the Marble & Granite, Inc. website, do you have it in stock?
Yes. If you see it online, we have it in stock. Our online inventory is kept in “real time” so if you see something you like, feel free to come on in and experience it in person. This is a really important step in your selection process, after all. It’s sometimes tricky to work with natural stone samples. Remember that no two slabs are exactly the same—even when they come from the same quarry. Seeing your options in person is highly recommended.

I’m not sure natural marble or granite is for me. Do you offer anything else?
Yes. We offer a wide array of surfacing options. If you’d like to explore manmade choices, we have the largest selection of quartz surfacing from ColorQuartz in New England. Plus, we offer ultra-compact, highly durable Neolith surfacing—a real game-changer in the surfacing industry thanks to its superhero-like strength.

Do I need an appointment?
